Dhaka, Apr 3 (UNB) - Country's leading drug manufacturer Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited (BPL) Monday launched a public awareness programme against human cases of avian influenza popularly known as bird flu. As part of its campaign, the company donated Oseflu, a preventive and curative drug for human cases of bird flu, to Health Ministry to help the government fight against any possible threat of the flu. The public awareness programme includes display of colourful posters (both in Bengali and English) in public places, inserts and advertisements in the newspapers, and stickers on vehicles.
