Apr. 1--Getting people outside Virginia interested in Jamestown's history -- as well as attracting national attention -- are challenges faced by the Jamestown 2007 commemoration.

"People outside of Virginia are not as emphatically enthusiastic about the anniversary as those inside Virginia are," said Judy Randall, head of Charlotte, N.C.-based Randall Travel Marketing. "It doesn't have the same degree of meaning for them as it would for Virginians."
