BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- LifePoint Hospitals, Inc. (NASDAQ: LPNT) today announced the completion of its previously announced sale of Smith County Memorial Hospital, a 63-bed hospital located in Carthage, Tennessee, to Sumner Regional Health Systems, Inc.
