The Baldwinsville woman was leaving the parking lot at work Saturday when her ex-boyfriend, David J. Jones, confronted her with a gun, police said. Jones fired a shot and missed, then chased her when she tried to escape, caught up with her and started hitting her in the head with the gun. Police said Jones fled the scene when Marshall's co-workers started yelling, and Jones was later arrested.
