Apr. 5--BARSTOW -- A proposed ballot measure by the police union to raise officer salaries is in limbo, but has not been dropped.The Barstow Police Officers Association (BPOA) concluded a new contract with the city last month but the ballot initiative has not been forgotten, BPOA President, Officer Ray Warren, said."We put it on hold for a while," he said.
