PORTLAND, Ore. -- The United States Coast Guard presented one of its highest civilian recognition awards to O'Loughlin Trade Shows, Inc. of Portland, OR in recognition of a unique child-safety program that provides free lifejackets to children ages 12 and under. The company distributed over 10,000 youth lifejackets to children attending the 2006 Portland Boat Show and the 2006 Evergreen Sportsmen' Show in Monroe, WA.
O'Loughlin Trade Shows was similarly honored by the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission and the Oregon State Marine Board for the unique water safety initiative.
