Article: With Supreme Court Nominee Alito Clearing Judiciary Committee, ACLJ Calls on Full Senate to Give Nominee Up-or-Down Vote by End of Week.

WASHINGTON -- The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), specializing in constitutional law, said today that while it's pleased that Judge Alito has cleared a critical hurdle by gaining confirmation by a 10-8 vote in the Senate Judiciary Committee the ACLJ said it is unfortunate the vote broke along party lines. The ACLJ now calls on the full Senate to give the Supreme Court nominee an up-or-down vote by the end of the week.
