THE NHS in London is facing debts of [pounds sterling] 245million, the Evening Standard can reveal.
Latest figures from health service organisations in the capital show the financial crisis, which has already claimed 1,000 jobs, is growing worse.
It will mean even more job losses, longer waiting times for patients and bed closures as managers fight to control costs.
Every service is said to be under threat, including government priorities such as sexual health.
