Apr. 6--Two prominent names in the Rhode Island construction business, The Procaccianti Group and Glenn Ahlborg, have teamed up to create a new local construction firm -- TPG Construction.
Ahlborg agreed earlier this year to merge his five-year-old multi-residential construction and development firm, Austin Ross Construction Inc., with Brownstone Construction, the building arm of The Procaccianti Group.
Procaccianti is a nationally known hotel management company based in Cranston and Ahlborg is the former president of O. Ahlborg & Sons Construction Inc., his family's Cranston-based firm.
