Worldwide internet retailer Amazon.com would benefit from partner in Poland, analysts say
WARSAW. APRIL 6. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - US-based online retailer Amazon.com wants to increase its presence on the Polish market and is considering signing an agreement with a Polish partner, possibly Merlin.com.pl, according to unofficial information, a move analysts say would benefit both firms.
"Cooperation with a Polish partner makes sense and both sides would profit from that solution. Amazon could sell its products more cheaply and Merlin could profit from increasing revenues," Bankier.pl analyst Michal Maciezynski told Interfax Thursday.
