Apr. 6--Joe Wilson hopes to lend a hand in giving new life to dilapidated buildings in downtown Fredericksburg.
The businessman, developer and former city councilman has bought the former Railway Express depot on Princess Anne Street.
He hopes the 4,200-square-foot site may one day house a piano bar, restaurant or office. He plans to have it ready to lease in about 90 days.
Doing the work takes time--and money. Fortunately, Wilson doesn't have to pay for it all on his own.
Through the federal and state Rehabilitation Tax Credit programs, Wilson and other property owners are given substantial incentives ...
