There is no let-up in the flow of music through the region's venues this week as the spate of acts is matched only by the diversity of the music on offer.
Artists who show no fear of breaching boundaries of style or genre are sometimes criticised by the so-called purists but that intrepid spirit and risk-taking enterprise often has rewarding results. There are several examples in today's column of just such daredevil efforts.
