Fashionista does indoors
Vivienne tam (above) is taking her first stab at interior design at the hotel where she is dubbed the "fashion ambassador.''
The Mandarin Oriental New York retained the award-winning fashionista to redesign its VIP Spa Suite, a luxurious 650-square-foot room that has a hot tub, a sauna, a fireplace and stunning views of Manhattan.
Ms. Tam designed some of the hotel's uniforms and its signature glass-encased fan in the lobby. This time, she's tackling wall coverings and window dressings. The spa's new look will be unveiled in the fall.
