Interest rates can harden due to inflationary pressure
New Delhi, Apr 7 (PTI) Interest rates could further harden in line with the global interest rates due to inflationary pressure, a key official from Standard Charterd Mutual Fund said today.
"Inflationary pressures are there in the market and global interest rates are heading northward. Our economy is going at fast rate which could create demand pull inflation and as a result interest rate could go higher," Rajiv Anand, Head- Investment said at a Fitch seminar here.
On liquidity, he said global liquidity has not reduced inspite of interest rates rise in the US.
