Ukraine says issue of USSR debt and asset distribution not settled
Kyiv, April 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) eI Ukraine considers that the distribution of the former USSR's debts and assets remains an open question, and the country is ready for a constructive dialogue with Russia to settle the matter, Ukrainian foreign ministry's top spokesman Vasyl Filipchuk said in a statement made available to Interfax-Ukraine on Friday.
Ukraine's position is that the final settlement of the issue of the former USSR's property abroad must be based on full information on the former Soviet Union's debts and assets.
