If it's hard to picture traversing St. Andrew Bay before the new Hathaway Bridge opened just two years ago this month, try believing that if construction were under way now, the names of those killed and injured raising it would still read like a small-town school yearbook from the 1950s.
James was killed in December 2002, Stockton in July 2003.
