Govt assures SBI employees of considering revised proposal
New Delhi, Apr 8 (PTI) The government today renewed its appeal to striking SBI employees to resume work in the interest of customers and said it would "sympathetically" consider a revised proposal on their demand for higher pension.
"Since talks have been resumed and are at advanced stage, government would appreciate if the unions decide to resume work in the interest of general public and customers of SBI," Vinod Rai, Special Secretary, Financial Sector, said in a letter to All India SBI Staff Federation secretary P K Patnaik.
