HANOI, April 10 Asia Pulse - Surging investments and growing domestic demand will fuel Vietnam's economic growth to around 8 per cent in the next two years, according to the Asian Development Bank.
Addressing a press conference, ADB Vietnam's head of Economics and Programmes Unit Omkar Shrestha said, "We expect to see an (Vietnam's) economic growth of 7.8 per cent in 2006 and 8 per cent in 2007. These are quite respectable and high growth rates."
