MASTERS champion Phil Mickelson today stoked his simmering rivalry with Tiger Woods by revealing his victory here was all the sweeter for the manner in which the defending champion was humbled.
Mickelson, having finished three strokes ahead of Woods, told how he had been spurred by his friendship with playing partner Fred Couples during a dramatic final round at Augusta National.
