Abstract
Water vapor diffusion coefficient, liquid moisture diffusivity, adsorption isotherm, water retention curve, thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity of two new hydrophilic mineral wool materials are determined in the paper. For the sake of comparison, the same parameters are also measured for two hydrophobic mineral wool materials and two mineral wool materials without any specific admixtures. It is shown that the thermal properties of hydrophilic materials and their water vapor transport and storage properties are very similar to common mineral wool but their liquid water transport and water storage parameters are significantly enhanced compared ...
