FOUR soft drinks were taken off the shelves recently after being linked to potentially cancercausing chemical benzene.

But what else is in the fizzy drinks so appealing to children, and are they damaging their health?

Here, nutritionist ANGELA DOWDEN, analyses the sugar and additive content of some of the most popular brands. All figures are per 330ml (average can or large glass).
