Just think of your mobile phone as the next TV remote control.
Soon you could be using your handset to tell your television to record a favorite show, even if you're not at home. Afterward, you could download that TV show or movie into your phone and view it anywhere.
Schaumburg-based Motorola Inc. (www.motorola.com) last week unveiled new technology that would allow you to remotely set your digital video recorder set-top box. The technology also will let you move that recorded show from the DVR to your next-generation mobile device, such as the upcoming Razr V3x.
