Aronoff lives to put together mergers, IPOs
If anyone can lay claim to being Cleveland's dean of dealmakers, it just might be George Aronoff.
At age 60, the attorney has been cutting deals for clients for more than 30 years. Big deals, small deals, local deals, international deals -- he's done them all.
In Cleveland, he represented the Revco D.S. Inc. drugstore chain in its leveraged buy-out and The Cleveland Press and its owner Joseph Cole in the controversial sale of the newspaper's subscriber list to The Plain Dealer.
