As one NFL rushing star ended his contract holdout, another one continued his negotiations at JET press time.

Miami Dolphins running back Bobby Humphrey signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins ending six months of bitter negotiations; but Dallas Cowboys star running back Emmitt Smith continues his contract hold out and it is believed he will not be in uniform when the team opens the regular season.

Terms of Humphrey's contract were not disclosed but published reports estimate the deal was worth $625,000.
