Apr. 13--Meth labs, once seemingly uncommon in Onslow County, seem more common now.
A Hubert couple was charged Tuesday in connection to a methamphetamine lab authorities found in their home in Pines Mobile Home Park off of Sandridge Road.
The lab was the second known methamphetamine lab found in Onslow County and also the second in less than a week. The first one was discovered April 1 -- also in Hubert.
The two cases aren't connected, said Onslow County Sheriff Ed Brown. But the couple charged -- Jeremy Michael Garrett, 27, and Brenda Liliana Garrett, 31, both of Birch Road -- are connected to a couple ...
