As Dave Magnum's campaign chairman and finance committee chairman, we read with interest Scott Milfred's April 9 column on gender research of candidates seeking Wisconsin's congressional offices. We came away with the sense that the 2nd Congressional District would elect a moderate candidate, regardless of gender.
Never before has either of us taken on such an involved role for a candidate, female or male. We are doing so for Magnum in large part because we were inspired by his work to shatter the glass ceiling in his own company since its creation in 1991.
