Apr. 15--The old, rugged cross made its way down Plumas Street on Friday, carried by willing individuals who took turns dragging the 80-pound object nearly 2 miles. Called "The Way of Suffering," the annual walk with the cross is meant to represent Good Friday, which Christians refer to as the day Jesus Christ was crucified.
