Apr. 16--Peeps have been very, very busy in recent weeks.
Who knew these little marshmallow chicks and bunnies could lead such rich and varied lives?
They've been riding the Carrousel at Riverfront Park. They've played arena football. They've slogged up Doomsday Hill. They've even starred in an all-Peep production of "Brokeback Mountain."
The Spokesman- Review's second-annual Peeps as Art Contest drew an impressive response a more than 100 entries that spared thousands of Peeps from certain death at the bottom of someone's stomach.
