ATLANTIC CITY, NJ -- Noting the future of the mortgage industry is in the emerging markets serving immigrants and minorities, Regina Lowrie, chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association, said it is important that the industry "better reflect the customers we will be serving over the next two decades."
She was speaking at the Regional Conference of Mortgage Bankers Associations here, which represented a homecoming for her. Her local association, MBA of Greater Philadelphia, is one of the groups that sponsor the meeting and she currently serves on its planning committee.
