Apr. 17--CRESTVIEW -- Two weeks ago, while driving home on Rattlesnake Bluff Road, Crestview resident Jimmie Mills noticed an ambulance in the middle of the road.
It had gotten stuck on its way to an emergency medical call on Riverview Loop, off Rattlesnake.
As quickly as they could, Mills and his daughter, Paula Perry, hooked a chain from Mills' truck under the ambulance and pulled the vehicle out.
"Hopefully, this was not a lifeor-death situation because the ambulance would have never made it in time," Perry said.
