The third week of the season is far too early to draw definitive conclusions but not to discern trends. Two disturbing ones are developing for the Colorado Rockies.
They are far from intimidating at Coors Field, where they wanted to roll back the years and again make teams cringe. And the Rockies will make life mountainously difficult by handing opportunities and runs to the opposition.
A 5-2 loss Monday against the San Diego Padres dropped the Rockies to 2-5 at Coors Field compared with 5-1 on the road.
