For families that dread the poison seasons, spring comes all too soon.
Picture a foreign country that once possessed the richest farm and forest soils on Earth. This country bets everything on the availability of cheap and endless oil and natural gas to make the fuel, fertilizer and poison pesticides required for growing cash crops on farms and timber plantations.
State laws prohibit local governments from regulating or tracking poisons. There's no funding to study the synergistic damage that occurs when several poisons are mixed and applied, as they almost always are. There's no ...
