HC gives green signal for Smart City project
Kochi, Apr 18 (PTI) Holding that the model code of conduct would not apply to the "Smart City" project as the decision to start it was taken in 2004 itself, the Kerala High Court today gave the green signal to the state government to go ahead with the signing of the final agreement of the Rs 1,500 crore IT infrastructure initiative coming up here.
The order in this regard was issued by Justice S Sirijagan while allowing a PIL seeking to quash the state Electoral Officer Nalini Netto's last month order prohibiting the state government from signing the final agreement with the Dubai Technology of Media Free Zone ...
