MACADAMIAS--ML Macadamia Orchards, L.P. entered into two separate agreements to sell macadamia nuts to Mac Farms of Hawaii, LLC and Purdyco International, Ltd. (DBA Island Princess). The agreement with Mac Farms is for the sale of between 4.5 and 5.5 million wet-in-shell pounds annually and the agreement with Island Princess is for approximately 2 million pounds annually.
CASHEWS--The cashew outlook for 2006 is uncertain at this time, but prices continue to decline, according to traders Samsons of Mumbai. Prices are down 25% to 30% from their recent peak of $2.55-$2.60 per pound, and are approaching historical lows, which were $1.70-$1.75. Supplies are stable ...
