Immigration New Zealand touts results in aggressive campaign to attract skilled American workers
NEW YORK, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Two of New Zealand's largest cities made the top 15 in the just-released Mercer Human Resources Consulting rankings of the best quality of living worldwide. In the 2006 survey, Auckland ranked fifth (from eighth place last year) and Wellington ranked 12th (from 14th place last year).
Rankings are based on 39 criteria such as political, social, environmental, personal safety, health, education and public services. Zurich, Geneva, Vancouver and Vienna were the top four cities.
