My favorite diet pill commercial? Glad you asked. It's the one that waved off the casually fat. The dilettantes. The people who were just fat during college, as part of the whole experimentation phase kids have. No, this pill was for seriously large people, and that's why it cost several hundred dollars. All you people who want to lose only 20 pounds, we don't want your money. Don't bother us with your unsightly muffin tops! It distracts us from our core clientele! Clever marketing, but cruel. They're all cruel, really. False hopes and temporary water loss.
