New York educators get access to video clips for instruction.

New York teachers will be able to integrate video clips and activities aligned with state curriculum into their classrooms under a new project McGraw Hill and Thirteen/WNET Television are deploying throughout the state.

The Video In Teaching And Learning (VITAL) project will eventually give all the state's teachers free access to "video-based instructional tools designed to improve individual student achievement." The project develops customized video-based classroom activities that are aligned with state education standards. VITAL will be used in a pilot for up to two years starting this fall.
