ALASKA -- The statewide education network has joined with the high-speed Internet2 network, known as Abilene, the groups announced last month. This is the 35th statewide education network to partner with Internet2 to provide K-12 students access to the high-speed Abilene network, which is specifically restricted to colleges and universities, unless a university sponsors another education group.
