Czech political leaders agree energy firm CEZ to remain state controlled & waive quick privatization
PRAGUE. APRIL 20. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - The chairmen of two largest Czech political parties Mirek Topolanek (Civic Democrats, ODS) and Premier Jiri Paroubek (Social Democrats, CSSD) has agreed the state-owned power utility CEZ should retain in the state's hands even after the June's parliament elections.
"[The ODS] does not see any investor, to which CEZ could be sold at the moment," the ODS chairman Mirek Topolanek said at the public Forum organized by daily Hospodarske noviny (HN) on Tuesday evening.
