Apr. 20--Past the hard hats and grinding power tools, a couple steps from the edge of the kiddie pool and above the giant water slide, Drew Jeffers has created an ocean on the cinder block wall.
Jeffers is the 23-year-old artist who rushed to complete his first mural for the Greeley Family FunPlex's pool area. The project is giant, larger than Jeffers has ever done.
One panel is 22-by-65 feet. The other joins it at a right angle and is 16-by-16 feet. The large panel runs parallel to a long, narrow water slide that begins at the other end of the complex and fires straight toward the smaller panel. Riders will blur past the ...
