Apr. 21--Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. chairman and chief executive officer Daniel R. Lee knows what he wants, and he can see it from the balcony of his Las Vegas office. It is the Tropicana casino, which sits on the most coveted piece of land in the gambling industry -- 34 acres on the Las Vegas Strip -- in a town where an acre can fetch up to $30 million. But the Trop dates from the pre-mega-casino era, and Lee would love the chance to give it an upgrade.
