Apr. 21--Will America and China spend the 21st century competing for oil and other commodities? Are we destined to clash -- economically and diplomatically, perhaps even militarily -- in a race to "lock up" the world's scarce resources? You might draw that conclusion, given some of the rhetorical buildup to Chinese President Hu Jintao's current visit to the United States.
