Apr. 21--Coloring a map of Ireland, Jazmyn Rodriguez listened to an Irish jig for the first time. "I never heard this music before," Rodriguez said. "We have Spanish and some English music at home."

Neveln Elementary School students spent the day learning about world cultures, walking, playing games, and cleaning as part of the annual Spring Fling fundraiser. The event included a walkathon, a carnival with games, spring cleaning and themed activities.
