Apr. 23--Roy Jackson has been in sports his whole life. He was a three-sport man as a freshman at Penn, and later worked in the Phillies' farm system, part of a life in professional baseball. His wife, Gretchen, met Roy at a dance in Merion when they were in the 11th grade. She grew up in Chestnut Hill, and remembers exactly how and when her lifelong love affair with horses began.
