Apr. 23--And a powerful shower shall come to pass Saturday afternoon in Old City. At 1:30, to be precise. That's when Christ Church plans to test a new fire-prevention system, sending torrents of water cascading down the outside of its storied old steeple -- which survived a bad scare two years ago -- and onto people, streets and gardens below.
