A survey conducted by the Irrigation Association Education Foundation forecast strong industry growth and strong demand for new hires.
The survey polled Irrigation Association members representing all segments of the irrigation industry, including local contractors, consultants, golf course managers, systems designers, irrigation-trained government employees, educators, distributors, manufacturers and more.
Respondents indicated the areas of employment they anticipate hiring in the next five years, with the highest areas of response being systems maintenance technicians (22.4%), designers (20.6%), systems construction/ installation personnel (17.6%), irrigation ...
