Proper Cornish, one of the UK's leading pasty manufacturers, will be able to take its steak pasties to Ireland and beyond.
The company has been granted an XAP licence by Defra, following an extensive process to meet stringent guidelines. Thanks to the licence it can now export the traditional steak pasty to customers outside of the UK where there is growing demand for this authentic Cornish product.
