MALACAA'ANG must have said enough in protecting President Gloria Macapagal Arroyoas Executive Privilege after it declared she would not hesitate to invoke it on matters of national security and public interest.
But to warn repeatedly against bullying of senior Executive Department officials during legislative hearings sounds like a defense mechanism against expected excesses of some legislators.
Still, defense mechanism or whatever, it may be necessary repeating it knowing how congressional committee investigations are conducted these days.
