INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - POLITICS: Poland's Lepper in Feisty Mood as Gov't Coalition Talks Near Conclusion - Andrzej Lepper, the leader of the leftist populist Self-Defense (Samoobrona), gave his possible senior coalition partner, the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, one week to complete the government coalition talks. Samoobrona operatives have already begun to address their leader as "prime minister," in anticipation of his nomination as the deputy prime minister in the conservative government of Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz.
