A local Spanish-language radio station conducted an on-air forum Saturday that addressed questions about the immigrant boycott on May 1 and rumors of statewide work raids by immigration officials.
Supporters of the May 1 event are being asked to skip work or school and not to shop or sell goods. At 9:30 a.m., demonstrators are expected to gather at Viking Park at Speer Boulevard and West 29th Avenue and then march through downtown to the state Capitol for a midday rally.
